I love that your city is so dedicated to art, especially today you bring us this great museum about traditional crafts and it's like taking a trip back in time to all those things and articles made with your own hands. On the other hand you keep such an old place and that is worth mentioning.
The Mártir-Quiroz room has enchanted me with those works made in leather or fur, the level of detail of the finishes and the quality of the work is incredible. I also love the room dedicated to handicrafts such as articles made in ceramics.

I think the most important thing is the meaning and the evocation of both the plum bread and the gifts. They evoke family, togetherness, peace, children's illusion, even if it is just for a small chocolate, and above all they evoke those traditions you are talking about.
It doesn't matter the country or place and whether or not Christmas is celebrated according to beliefs, but what matters is the deepest, the universal love and that family that forges tradition. That plum bread must be delicious especially for the memories it brings with it on these special dates.

If I understood well, this is a museum that preserves the objects gathered from the Southern Italy area? When I wrote "local", it sounds small, but given the rich history of that part, it's one of the most prestigious... 😀
It's awesome to see objects like that and try to imagine our ancestors using them for their everyday needs... Unbelievable how amazing they look after thousands and thousands of years!! 😱

More Enduring than fingerprints: Prints in the snow by @tht

An interesting perspective. Now that I think about it, especially when I went down to the garden in the village, the footprints I left there remained for weeks because no animal or person wanted to step on a 40-centimeter gap. As you can imagine, the sun couldn't melt such a thick layer of snow before March. In a way, I was leaving a legacy until summer 😂

I've never owned one of these devices, so I can't recommend anything, but I'm glad you got one, man. These types of devices allow people to stay immersed in the gaming world 24/7. Some streamers I follow in Turkey say the Steam Deck can't compete with the PS5, but ultimately, it offers something different. How about adding a city-building game to your list? Frostpunk is one of the best games I've ever played.
