Today I found myself pivoting again as a last minute event came up for the evening which made me cancel my Alpha class at the gym. This made me go to the gym early to get some strength training. I was feeling a bit low on energy but that quickly changed as I did my first squat with some heavy weights. I got the momentum needed to push through the workout in good time to get to work and my agenda. It was a full day so kept me busy.

For me personally, this has been a moment of deeper reflection and analysis. I’ve long focused my land assets within a single region, believing that the simplicity and efficiency of centralization would be the key to long-term success. And to be fair, that’s worked for a while. But with the addition of new resources, shifting production values, and the upcoming introduction of items like Midnight Potions and Permits, I’m starting to see cracks in that strategy.

Today was my long run day so I needed to adjust to a busy early start at work by heading outside as the Sun starting rising. The weather was great so jumped on the opportunity to get started early on my run. I was surprised as I got to the half way mark as I was feeling strong. I did not push any more than usual as I focused on staying in Zone 2 which I was able to stay in for most of the run. The challenge remains finding a route to not run out of time to get back home.

After a surge during the pandemic, when entertainment and gaming saw record engagement and profits, the industry is now feeling the effects of a demand recession. I wanted to start this week with mixing things up as I want to attempt to break through what I think is a plateau in my progress. Instead of going through my normal weight training routine, I signed up for Alpha training classes this week for my lifting sessions. The only risk is that these are early evening so I may not get to all of them given my work agenda which remains a challenge. My idea was to get an early walk for fresh air in the morning just in case.
