A big shoutout is due to the community developers behind the new third-party tool supporting Splinterlands landowners (https://splinter-lands.streamlit.app/). With the recent rollout of Phase 1.75 of Land, this tool couldn't have come at a better time.
This site provides landowners with a slick and insightful dashboard to analyze key components of their land operations—especially production rates and sustainability metrics. As Phase 1.75 introduced changes like the shift in worksites and the addition of new resource types, many players are now faced with the challenge of rebalancing their land to become more self-sufficient. This site makes that journey much easier.
One of the most helpful features I noticed is the sustainability score. It’s a high-level indicator of how well-balanced your land is in terms of producing the resources needed to maintain production without excessive external inputs. Seeing a 100% score next to my account was definitely a reassuring moment. While I know I'm slightly deficient in Wood production, I believe the surplus of Grain I've accumulated over the last year is helping buffer that imbalance for now.
This is where the tool really shines—offering a clear look at potential issues before they become major problems. My current Grain stash is a safety net, but I know it won’t last forever. Eventually, I’ll need to address that Wood deficiency or risk production interruptions. Having this level of visibility gives me time to plan ahead, whether by swapping plots, crafting the right buildings, or adjusting workforce strategy.
As we prepare for the rollout of new land features like Permits and Midnight Potions, sustainability will become even more critical. These new assets will add utility to land—and also introduce new costs and production decisions. Owners who can produce internally will likely have a significant advantage in the long run, both in terms of cost savings and flexibility.
While I’m still exploring everything this site has to offer, it’s already proving to be a vital companion on my land journey. There’s still work to do before I get all my plots fully operational, but tools like this give me a roadmap to follow and make the process far less daunting.
If you're a fellow landowner trying to make sense of your resource flows or just want a deeper look into your production setup, I highly recommend checking it out. It’s yet another example of the power of community in the Splinterlands ecosystem—filling in the gaps and making the game more approachable for everyone.
