Plateau Breaking Attempt - My Actifit Report Card: April 28 2025

I wanted to start this week with mixing things up as I want to attempt to break through what I think is a plateau in my progress. Instead of going through my normal weight training routine, I signed up for Alpha training classes this week for my lifting sessions. The only risk is that these are early evening so I may not get to all of them given my work agenda which remains a challenge. My idea was to get an early walk for fresh air in the morning just in case.
Work was not too bad so I got to the gym early for the class. I warmed up with an elliptical since I was early while waiting for a spot to open up for the class. Today’s focus was squat and pull with some conditioning at the end. It was intense but I got through it pretty well. A benefit of the visit to the gym was that I was able to also get to the Spa for some recovery which was great. I have missed some rest and recovery after my workouts given the time constraints.
