There was a time in the bible where it recorded that God's people turned their back, when they have done evil in the sight of the Lord. The Lord the said through the prophet Amos in the book of Amos 4:6;And I also have given you cleanness of teeth in all your cities, and want of bread in all your places: yet have ye not returned unto me, saith the LORD.

The only prohibition given to us concerning consuming animals is not to eat blood. We must let the blood be poured to the ground. Any moving thing that lives, we are permitted to eat it. This goes for pork. We can eat pork as well if we choose.

1 John 5:18 - We know that whosoever is born of God, sinneth it not. But he that is begotten of God, keep it himself, and that wicked one touched him not.Satan and his cohorts cannot touch those that are born of God. The Bible is classifying that those that cannot be touched by the evil one or Satan are those begotten of God and keeps himself, meaning watching over himself. That is to say being mindful of his actions, his emotions, his character, his dealings with people, his belief, and the rest.
