Time flies! Just completed the 200th brawl with my awesome guild, which is none other than Pizza 2 The Deep Dish!
Really appreciated the interaction in the Discord chats within the Pizza guilds. During the preparation phase, there's a lot of information sharing and discussion on who to fill each fray. During the brawls, there were reminders to members to complete their brawl battles. And after the brawls, there were celebratory messages and some members (including me) would write about our experience in the brawls. Aside from brawls, I thought the donations were also very well organised and tabulated, with lucky draws to incentivise donors as well.
- Moving Back To Bronze Fray
For this brawl, I made the decision to move back to a Bronze level fray, which is where my cards are at. It proved to a good decision but I was back to winning form!
Had 5 battles this time and it was not an easy round, especially when they have recently introduced 3 rulesets for each battle. Moreover, I have rented out most of my cards because I was playing lesser these days.
So for the final result, we were 4th out of 8 guilds and got 485 Merits and around 17 SPS!

Individually, I had 5 fights this time and I won 3 of them this time! Finished 6th within the guild. Woohoo! Due to change in format, wins are actually awarded to the players present in the fray if guilds decided to skip the fray. For this round, there were 2 additional wins for me.

Battle 1 - LOSE
Gladius Card Used: None
My opponent had cards that were too powerful for this ruleset and I just didn't have the depth of cards to match.
MVP: None
Battle 2 - WIN
Gladius Card Used: Captain Katie and Sola Ranjell
A perfect 6-0 win to get started on the scoring board! Captain Katie was crucial in getting the Snipe hits and scoring Bloodlust, and eventually just became too much for my opponent.
MVP: Captain Katie
Battle 3 - WIN
Gladius Card Used: None
Wow what kind of matchup is this? This was almost like a free win when my opponent fielded just 1 card for a 24 mana match. Will take it then! Woohoo!
MVP: None (almost like a free win)
Battle 4 - WIN
Gladius Card Used: Gorth
Paying close attention to the ruleset made a difference here. I had cards with Flying and Immunity and they proved instrumental in this Poison and Earthquake battle. As usual, Gorth was a strong 1 v 1 card.
MVP: Gorth
Battle 5 - LOSE
Gladius Card Used: Witch Of Warwick
It's just so hard to win against Quora Towershead over in this battle. My team huffed and puffed and it wasn't enough.
MVP: None
So that sums up my 5 battles for this brawl! 60% win rate this time round, and including a loss to Quora Towershead as expected.
Review Of Gladius Cards
The Merits are coming in fast and I have enough Merits for my 75th Gladius case! Not a bad set but still no Quora Towershead. :(
