A few days ago, I found myself back in Heidelberg for work. It’s a beautiful city I’ve visited a few times already, and it’s located just south of Frankfurt, in the direction I come from. In the past, I didn’t really have time to explore the city much, but this time I decided to make the most of it. I took an extra day before my meetings to get to know the city a little better. So, in the evening around 6 PM, I hopped on the tram and made my way to the city center, heading for the train station. There, I spent quite a while chatting with a colleague, catching up on things. After our long conversation, I walked through the Heidelberg train station and stopped at a taxi stand to ask for directions to the Old Bridge. The taxi driver kindly pointed me in the right direction, so I started walking. Less than 20 minutes later, I found myself by the Neckar River, which flows through Heidelberg and past its charming Old Town. It felt great to finally take in the city’s beauty at my own pace.

A few weeks ago, HiveFest10 was announced, and I have to say – Yes! We’re finally going back to Asia! This time to Kuala Lumpur. I was in Bangkok back in 2019, and since then, I’ve become a huge fan of traveling in Asia!After the initial hype faded, I wanted to do something for the community – for everyone who will be traveling to Asia and spending an unforgettable week in Malaysia. I know that during events like this, a lot of photos are taken – whether with phones or digital cameras. And, of course, everyone blogs about their experiences in Asia.

Maybe some of you on HIVE have seen it before, there’s something called a KE Ratio for every account. It shows how much a user has earned from author rewards plus curation rewards over time. If you divide this total by the user's current Hive Power, you get the KE Ratio. It’s a small but interesting number that shows how efficiently someone is using their stake.

I have just updated the small help tool “Hive Post Payout Dashboard (using HafSQL)” to a new host endpoint, as the dear @mahdiyari will soon deactivate the old version at hafsql.mahdiyari.info and the new version will continue at hafsql-sql.mahdiyari.info. The free access data will remain the same - only the host URL will change. So, if you are still using the old host URL, please switch to the new URL as soon as possible.

Some time ago – actually, it’s been quite a while – there was a contest on stakingrewards.com. Back then, the Hive community took part, and we actually won a listing spot! That was a great moment, and Hive got officially listed on their platform.

I'm already looking forward to the trip to Kuala Lumpur, as I was there for the first and last time in 2019. More about this in my next posts with impressions from back then.
