Hey guys! As you may have noticed, it was recently announced that this year's HiveFest 10 will take place in Malaysia. I'm already looking forward to the trip to Kuala Lumpur, as I was there for the first and last time in 2019. More about this in my next posts with impressions from back then. As we know that many Hive users will be posting and blogging about Hive Fest in Malaysia before, during and after the event, I thought a nice little tool could be helpful.
I thought I would develop a tool that would transform your photos and pictures into the Malaysian tropical style. When I'm finished with the tool, all you have to do is select a photo, choose a frame and press the magic button. At the moment I have already created 2 designs in Photoshop that can bring a little tropical vibe to your pictures. My plan is to make at least 8 different designs - but that will take some time and of course a creative process.
Nevertheless, I'm going to show you at least a little sneak peek and I'd love some feedback.
During the development I also noticed that people probably won't upload pictures in 16:9 format and so I built in a cropping tool that is set to a fixed ratio. Well, I'll continue working on it in the next few days and make sure that I publish the tool as soon as possible.
