A few days ago, I converted my original script, which is written in Python and only ran locally on my computer, into an application that can run in a browser with an interface. You can find the article here: I was actually very happy with the development, as everything worked as I had imagined. But for a long time I had been thinking that retrieving information for every single API call per account is simply too resource-intensive and takes far too long. The idea that came to me was to rewrite the software in such a way that it can be realized with the HiveSQL database query, since information can be retrieved directly and almost instantly. Since I am not very familiar with SQL, I simply discarded this idea and continued working with the API endpoint version. After I published the API version on Github the day before yesterday, I took it upon myself to spend the day yesterday getting to grips with SQL a little more. At the end of October 2024, I became aware of a large-scale spam attack targeting Hive. Since then, I have been working consistently, together with @hivewatchers, to address the situation. This effort has been highly effective. Over the months, I’ve been analyzing over 18,000 accounts daily through various API endpoints to detect and highlight potential payouts linked to stolen content. With the essential collaboration of @themarkymark and @buildawhale, nearly, if not, all of these fraudulent payouts have been successfully intercepted and downvoted before they could be reaching the 7-days payout window.

This morning, I was genuinely blown away when I opened my YouTube feed and stumbled across a video uploaded just yesterday. It’s a behind-the-scenes documentary, about 50 minutes long, showcasing how the band Rammstein managed their massive stadium tour. Watching this, I couldn’t help but marvel at the sheer scale of one of the biggest rock tours in the world. The documentary gives an incredible glimpse into the immense effort and planning that goes into making a single show day happen.

Some time ago, I found myself on a plane again, heading off on another journey. I snapped this photo with my phone, and it turned out to be one of my favorite captures. I always make it a point to choose a seat near the wings of the plane... there’s something about the view from there that feels both powerful and serene. From this angle, the wing almost feels like it’s guiding you through the endless blue sky, and the clouds below seem close enough to touch.
