Hola queridos amigos!, un placer saludarles de nuevo. Mi amiga @annafenix y mi persona @brujita18, le traemos una nueva iniciativa en nuestra columna "Échame el Cuento", para seguir compartiendo nuevas historias, experiencias, como ya es costumbre. En esta ocasión les traemos un tema que todos tenemos en nuestro haber familiar y es nuestra Herencia Inconsciente; que viene a ser esos patrones de comportamientos, creencias y emociones de los cuales muchas veces no estamos conscientes, pero que lo heredamos de nuestras familias.

When we talk about instincts, we refer to those impulses we have when we receive some kind of stimulation, and depending on the stimulus, we react, often without realizing it, such as when we see someone we like and are sexually attracted to. Immediately, our gaze turns to that person, our smile widens, and sometimes we have these reactions without realizing it, until someone else says something like, “You're beaming,” or “Watch out for that smitten smile,” ha ha ha, it happens a lot. There is also a lot of talk about maternal instinct, that feeling you get when you hold your children in your arms for the first time, that desire to protect them that arises without explanation. It is love, just feeling that new being inside us and even more so when we have them in front of us.

It's graduation season, and everything that goes with it, from academic formalities to buying the right dress to celebrate the completion of studies—in my case, for my daughter, who is moving on from high school to the new stage of university. We are experiencing all these moments with my 17-year-old daughter, who finished high school with excellent grades, thank God. It has been a process, both for her and for us as parents and family, to accompany her throughout this journey

I have had several health challenges, quite difficult and for different reasons; but without a doubt, the one that has most marked my life was the one I suffered almost 13 years ago, which was an ischemic stroke, commonly known as an (ischemic stroke). At the time this happened to me, I was dealing with a lot of stress, as my mother had been diagnosed with breast cancer around that time, and I had about two and a half years of chemotherapy, surgery, and her recovery. With all that going on, those were very difficult days. On top of that, my younger children were still small, the youngest being 4 years old, so I had a very busy routine. Although I had the support of my husband and family, those were not easy days...

Carmen era una mujer joven, que desde niña había pasado mucho trabajo en su Santo Domingo natal; huérfana desde temprana edad, de padre y madre había pasado de una casa familiar a la otra, pero en ningún lugar había sido bien recibida, siempre se habían aprovechado de su situación de orfandad, para ponerla a trabajar forzadamente. Hasta que un buen día, junto a una amiga que había conocido en algún lugar de la calle, la invitó a un viaje de aventura. Esta chica se llamaba Paola y vivía por donde le cayera la noche. Le dijo a Carmen que le había salido un trabajo en Haití y que le habían pedido dos chicas más para este trabajo y ella iba a ser una de ellas...
