This time, it is a new block of flats currently under construction that I took a shot of. Regardless of the fact that some people may prefer living in detached houses rather than in blocks of flats and multi-storey buildings, this building will provide accommodation to single people, families, and businesses, which we can't ignore with so many homeless people nowadays. When it comes to old houses like this one, you get the impression that time has stopped. I would like to be able to travel back in time, so that I could see what this house actually looked like when people used to live there. It must have been very different to what it looks like right now, in this dilapidated state. I hope someone finds the inspiration and courage to revamp it to its former glory. One flower doesn't make it spring. Granted. Especially with all this climate disruption, plants, animals, humans, and other living beings and organisms seem to have a hard time regulating their physiological functions. Even the smallest of the flowers can bring hope though. Hope is something intangible that is very powerful, at the same time. I stumbled upon this sign on my way to 5,000 steps or so. It was outside an amusement arcade and showed some photos of what it's like inside the arcade. All those games reminded me of the video games mania of the 80s and the 90s. Amusement arcades were a big thing back then. They were so popular that people, especially youngsters, spent hours after hours there, playing video and other games, literally lost in their own worlds.
