This project has been running for a few years to provide extra support to some Hivers who are on their way to becoming Minnows. You reach that when your Mana is one million. That is currently equivalent to about 610 HP and It goes up with the inflation. You can see some details on that each month in the statistics post by @arcange.
The aim has been to get us to 10,000 minnows, but we still have a way to go with about 8730 now.
We do some checks every so often to see if those getting automatic votes from this account have reached the magic number. By then they ought to be getting other support by building their following and engaging. Then we do some queries with @hivesql to find other candidates.
To get this support you need to be actively posting and commenting with some existing support. You should not be powering down.
Our vote is only a few cents, but may help a little. We get some delegations from various people to increase it, but any rewards earned are put back into the project.
We have been using Hive.vote to manage the voting, but @peakd has it too now, so we may look at using that.
