Whoops! I've been baking up a storm again and forgot to update you guys! So, with baking projects as big as these, I like to break up the content into parts so it's well, easier to digest! Lol. So here in South Africa, Father's on Sunday the 15th of June and I'm making box sets of cookies, cupcakes and, of course, socks! No father's day is complete without them! Lol. It is the middle of winter here though, so keeping Dad's feet warm is a serious priority, especially with @zakludick who is always working so hard, into the wee hours of the morning.

SourceIsn't it funny how superstitious some people are? In our country, the number 13 is even removed from floor numbering in big buildings and in elevators. Is it the same in your country? I suppose I used to be too, but honestly, I have just become to old and lazy to care 🤣🤦‍♀️ Just joking... I have only just turned 40, but I suppose I am having some sort of midlife crisis as a result. Anyway, back to superstition, we are on our 13th chapter of my @BusyBeesCommunity Manual Curation Post and I don't think it's any bad omen what so ever! Saturday night was a super special night for @jasperdick and I as we put on our MobeyDick hats and enjoyed the heck out of this fantastic initiative! It has grown exponentially from just a handful of people to booking out an entire venue, through no advertisement! Just word of mouth alone.

For the last two to three years, I have found myself stuck in a repetitive loop. Like a hamster wheel that I can't seem to get off of. I think I'm starting to catch sight of how to leave and that means taking a leap.My grief had become, in my mind, all consuming, and has even become my identity. @zakludick said something beautiful to me that brought me to tears last nigh. He said "You are so beautiful and so much more than your trauma."
