Many years ago, when websites were still very much static and updating a number on screen without a click seemed like the pinnacle of technology, so-called browsergames were everywhere. Pretty much the original idle clickers, they consisted of pages over pages full of tables with ever-growing numbers, and timers for which some people even set alarms to not miss their next chance to click and advance.

I thought the consensus was clear and there wouldn't be a need for this any more, but here we go again.The Hive Discord has been buzzing lately, with a bunch of radio shows, podcasts, or whatever to call them. There have been plenty of more or less fruitful discussions, and everything has been very positive and innocent. Until things took a turn when the topic of vote buying schemes came up.

Nobody seems to realize how important every single vote is on Hive. Depending on where you live, the chance is like 99% that your influence here is a lot bigger than in your countries politics.To help illustrate this, I created a small tool I nicknamed the hive democracy checker.

@louis88 had been playing around with GitHub's Copilot and @mahdiyari's public HafSQL database to figure out the retention rate and general efficiency of onboarding programs, which I watched him stream on Discord. This made me want to create a hafsql version of the hive_tx_to_csv script using the same tools. After a lot of prompting the AI, waiting for results and test-runs, and fixing quite a lot of ridiculous mistakes, I ended up with a working version

Well, to say it briefly, they aren't free.I got a full pack for my stake, but had to pay 1 of the in-game Credit to claim. The minimum amount I was able to buy were 1000 Credit (for 4 HIVE). I need a potion to open the pack, which costs 150 Credit. No problem, got 999 of them left. The minimum spend in the market is 1000 Credit. That's where I closed the tab.

About 3 weeks ago, Google added the ability to generate podcasts to their Notebook AI suite. It took until today for it to show up in my news feed, and I went over there to test it right away. And holy f***, this is impressive. After being cringed and creeped out for about 10 minutes, I decided to publish it here, and go further and make a collection.
