If I’ve ever taken part in Hive Power Up Day, it was purely by chance. I usually power up whenever I notice some liquid tokens sitting in my “inbox,” so I rarely have any, let alone enough, available right when #HivePUD comes around.

I actually wanted to share a post about Stolpersteine (you’ll learn what those are, promise!) but I still need to take a few photos... and for that, I’d have to leave the flat. Which I’ve only managed lately for groceries, gardening or vet visits. 😅

Let me start from the beginning: Yesterday started out great. I stepped into my garden, soaking up the sun, happy that my day job was done. It had been a solid day overall: interesting tasks at work, some coding for my upcoming @DIYHub curation bot ported to golang, and I was looking forward to some peaceful time in the garden. Even the traffic was tolerable his time. My plan was to paint a table for my potato planting pots - a relaxing task with music in my ears and vitamin D from the strong spring sun.

Yesterday was a busy day in the garden! I started by hauling five big bags of weeds and plant clippings to the compost area of our community garden. Right after emptying them, I filled up two more bags - this time from mowing the lawn and cutting back wild weeds.
