I've been learning bits and pieces of the Spanish language to help in the classroom, help with the families, and prepare me for life in the tropics if I ever get to escape to some beaches somewhere!I'll have to check the last time I finished a day under 10K, and I've likely only missed one calendar actifit day in the past month. This weekend, my 10K streak may come to an end. It's a beach wknd with some couples in Rhode Island, and relaxing on the beach is the course of action. Toes crossed!

Here's a taste of a three-eyed strawberry, the most eye-catching sticker in the Elsewhere bathroom when I visited on Saturday. Humpday at school yielded another healthy tally of 13K steps.I even had enough juice in the tank to get in some yoga with my partner while enjoying a little evening patio sunshine. Then I had one last fantasy NFL draft in a new league that my sister is running. It is a "couples" league and the first time I've competed against her. We play in Week 1. Wish me luck! Hiya Street Art enthusiasts. I'm back with another submission for the CCC Street Art Contest #212. Last week I finished in 2nd place with this large vertical mural that depicts a message of children's love conquering the boundaries of race and religion.

BATTLE LINK -- August 31, 2024 -- Day 244 of 366 vs. @autofeedI might be a few days behind, but I won't let that stop me from sharing my best battles with the battlemages of Splinterlands. Today I focus on a key battle during the final days of the previous Season 141, when I finally made it to Modern Champion League! It is always one of my favorite battles of the season, but it is a shame that I had such precious little time to battle in Modern that it took me 13 days to get there.

Another day at school brought another day of 11K steps. It just blows my mind how I rack up miles of steps every day on this 4th floor of a school building. But here I am stacking up the steps while going mostly nowhere.Although we've had our students back for two weeks now, the public school we share our building with will finally be back in session with students on Thursday. I'm enjoying all the back to school flair going up around our neighborhood elementary school as well as the quieter hallways. That is all about to change soon!
