More today steps after a long day out of the house. I left at 7.25am to go to school and just got back from the comedy club at 11.30pm. No wonder I charted 16K steps!
School was busy since a few of our 6th grade teachers were out today, so that meant more swapping classrooms and lots more stairs. And then I had my news production club after school.
I hustled from after-school to the neighborhood upscale pizza shop with a wood-fired oven and $20 pies to meet my partner and my mom for dinner. We celebrated her 72nd birthday with salad, pizza and some stand up comedy for dessert.
We hit up a local hot spot for up and coming comedians called The Tiny Cupboard and hung out for the early and late shows. I really enjoyed this "metal" piece of graffiti in the bathroom. Hell yes it is! We heard some great bits and it was funny to watch my mom laugh at orgasm and masterbation jokes. It's not for everyone, but it was fun for me anyway.
I'm not so sure my partner loved it, though. She definitely wasn't playing along when the red head got into her bi girl with a cis hetero guy routine. Hit a little too close to home. Let's not even get started with the poly routine. My girl was flummoxed. Maybe we'll have to go back without mom to see if my partner will pander to the comedian. Until next time...
