Today marks a very significant day in my life and in the lives of those alive today. It's not an easy ride so far but I'm glad we all made it.
Before I talk about powering up, I'll like to run through memory lane of how I got to my current hive power and reputation.
When I started newly and made my introductory post, it didn't do well and I had just 16 delegated HP that I used to post and comment on people's post.
After my second post, a kind friend delegated another 25 hive power in the person of @kiwibloke.
I downloaded Discord and started chatting with people, trying to engage. Little did I know that it's not there one engages rather they do so on their blogs.
I was handed over to @theterminal admins by @fionafavourites and they took me in to join in their rallies.
I also joined other communities like #gems, #ocd and #hivebootcamp. As time passed I joined a few others like #projecthope, #bcdcommunity, #monomad etc.
Just like every hiver here, I started with a reputation of 25 and grew to 57 currently. I was pushed up by the votes of #appreciator, #trafglar, #project.hope and other kind curators who found my post worthy of being curated.
There are times I earned nothing on a post but that didn't discourage me cause it's not all about the earning but about having a great time here.
I also engaged in a few contests hosted by the likes of @felt.buzz, @theycallmedan, @galenkp, @theterminal, @starstrings and @culgin. Some of which earned me an upvote, reblog, retweet and hives.
I won't forget the kind gestures of @theterminaml, @brittandjosie, @justclickindiva, @thekittygirl and @nickyhavey for their hives and hive power.
Engaging with this much people landed me my current hive power. I was able to seize every opportunity I got to interact with them and win awesome prices.
My power up adventure
I had 154 HP and powered up my 78 hive making it 216 plus an additional delegation of 16 HP summing up to 232 HP.

With this I have a greater voting power although not much but it's the start of something new.
I have graduated from a Redfish rallier 100. My next target is to get to 500 HP. Don't know how soon but definitely I'll get there.
My current reputation
I was able to make this blog because I completed the following requirements; I have ;
A reputation of 57 which is within the range of the set limit that is 69.99 and 39
Powered up on first of July specifically as asked.
A hive power of 154 and a minimum of 100 is required to qualify.
