I never thought I’d have friends who would stick with me for over 27 years, especially the ones I met in preschool. But here we are...still together, still laughing, still talking non-stop in our Messenger group. Life has taken us to different cities and countries, but that group is always active, and honestly, I can laugh so much with them that it feels like we’ve never been apart.

I was bored yesterday because my husband was on the night shift. I didn’t want to watch TV (ugh, nothing good on), and I wasn’t ready to read a book because, let’s be real, if I start, I don’t stop. You know how it goes....eight hours fly by, and suddenly it’s morning, and I’ve forgotten to sleep. Not great when I have work the next day!

I received the most awesome gift from my in-laws. Of course, I won’t complain about the amazing Star Wars LEGO set my husband got me (that’s legendary too), but you know what they gave me? A popcorn maker. A real, shiny, fabulous Whirley Pop!

Under the sparkling motto “Journey Through Time,” the LUMAGICA light park in Frohnleiten is back, opening its dazzling gates to whisk us away into a world of pure magic. This year, they’ve really outdone themselves with a time-travel theme, starting at the Big Bang and zooming all the way into a breathtaking future.

Another year, another challenge. You know the drill: the annual brain-bender where I have to remember it’s 2025 now, not 2024. Trust me, it’s like my mental gym workout every January. By April, I’ll still be scribbling 2024 somewhere...classic me. 😅

Oh, this year was something else! A total rollercoaster ride...full of ups, downs, twists, and turns. It wasn’t all good, but hey, it wasn’t all bad either. Life keeps things... spicy! This year was exciting, sad, curious, active, just all kinds of something.
