Buzzparty 2025 comes to an end – but what a ride!

First mission yesterday. Saving the world – one trash bag at a time 😎🌍
Let’s be real for a second...saving the planet? That’s kinda the biggest project ever for all of us humans. Some people are trying super hard. Others? Meh… they just close their eyes and pretend they don’t see the mess around. You know what I mean? Trash. Everywhere. Like... hellooo?
But you know what? There are the heroes. People who actually do stuff. Even small things. Because small steps are still steps, right? One of those eco-heroes is definitely @tibox. ( @tibox. and @tibox. project)
So yesterday was Buzzparty Day 3 and oh man, what a plan! Guess what we did? We made a competition out of... picking up trash! YEP. A trash-picking showdown! 😂💪
Honestly, if you tell people “Hey, you can win something while cleaning,” I swear more folks would grab trash bags than if you gave out free pizza. People loooove winning, even if it’s just bragging rights. But not all of us need prizes...some of us are just crazy. 😉
Saturday came in with sunshine...no excuses, folks! The mission: clean a part of the town. Even if it’s a small one. Small town, big hearts.
We gathered, split into teams and… game ON.
Now, obviously, my husband had to be in my team. Someone needed to carry THE bag. The sacred trash bag. The one that would DECIDE OUR VICTORY. 💪
We started under the lovely Schloßberg. Lucky us...shady trees and all. Sounds easy, right? Piece of cake? Nope. I kinda forgot a tiny detail. We’re going up. Not down. Not flat. UP the freakin’ hill. 😅 And let’s be honest...I’m more of a casual walk-with-dog kinda girl. Hiking for sport? Nah.
Anyway, let’s roll!
In my dream team: @marjanko and @marjanko, a surprise guest from our Hive fam who joined randomly by seeing the event online. HOW COOL IS THAT?
I went full-on trash ninja. Activated my trash radar—no bottle cap was safe. I think the boys struggled to keep up with me but hey, they tried their best and I’m proud of them. 😄
But then... drama. There was another trash hunter. @ninaeatshere. Fast. Focused. Deadly efficient. She was my nemesis. I was NOT gonna let her beat me. Oh no no no. I didn’t even care about the other teams. My mission: beat Nina. 😂
We were neck and neck. Buuut here’s the funny part. Graz is CLEAN! Like, really clean. Applause to the city and those who keep it so! 👏👏👏 Not much trash to find, so it was a bit of a struggle.
By the time we reached the top (almost died btw), I snuck a peek at Nina’s bag. Uh-oh. She had stuff. I started sweating...not just from climbing! No way she’s winning!
Finally, it was decision time. The verdict? @ninaeatshere and her team…Noooo. Impossible. But okay, okay... they said we’ll share first place. Fine. I’ll take it. Better than second. 😅
Let’s be honest...only me and Nina were super into this rivalry. Our teams were just chilling. Next time, we should be on the same team. We’d clean the whole city! 😂
After all that climbing and sweating, we needed a cold beer and food. Sat down with a killer view over Graz, filled our bellies, and then… reality hit. “Let’s walk to the car,” I said. Worst. Idea. Ever. 🙃 You sliding guys were smart. Jealous.
But karma helped me out. On the way down, we stumbled upon a street show! A dancing queen, drum-playing dudes—wooow! You sliders missed it, sorry not sorry 😜
Got home, collapsed into bed for a quick nap. Woke up hours later like I’d been hit by a truck. Meanwhile, the others were still out exploring. Legends.
Later we all met up for dinner outside the city. Beautiful place, peaceful, yummy food, awesome company. What else do you need in life?
This morning I woke up like...Wait. Is it really over?! Did we really just have this epic event in my city? 😭
One last breakfast together, much-needed coffee, laughs, and hugs. Time to say goodbye.
But… this was the last thing I expected today. It was our last morning together...and then out of nowhere, police showed up everywhere, telling us through a megaphone that we had to leave the train station. Like, what?!
So yeah, we didn’t really get to say goodbye to everyone properly. Our car was stuck in the middle of all the chaos, so we had to run and drive off quickly.
If I didn’t get the chance to say goodbye to you...thank you all, it was an awesome time!
And don’t forget… Nina and I won the cleaning challenge! ;)))
Huge shoutout to our awesome organizers @tibfox and @tibfox – YOU GUYS KILLED IT! 💥💥💥
And also thank you guys to share some knowledge with us. @seckorama @seckorama, @seckorama, @seckorama , @seckorama, @seckorama, great presentation.
To everyone who came...you’re amazing. Hope to see you again soon. We definitely need more of these crazy, fun, meaningful days.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Safe travels back home! 🥹❤️
With love, @tinabrezpike ❤️
