It's been a while since the last time I posted something on Hive. Work-life balance really caught me up for the past few months and sometimes, Hive is just one of my go to content platforms I enjoyed visiting and reading. But today, I want to share some updates of my Genesis League Sports (GLS) investment, where it has been sitting for a while now, earning some liquid tokens from GLX and pack staking. Not much of an investment but still happy to see some tiny growth on its development and tokenomics.
Date NightMy wife has treated me to a night out which she has promised me before that she would bring me to a Japanese restaurant, Nonki. It was my first time and I was eager to try authentic Japanese dishes. I have seen a lot of these dishes online and have heard about people's experiences with exquisite Japanese food, so my curiosity have been piqued. I have become tired of eating takoyaki and tempura and wanted to try something different this time.
Asturias Beach House is a popular milieu located on the east coast of Cebu province in the Philippines. This private beach is a 55km or an hour and a half ride from the bustling city of Cebu, but the journey is well worth it. Our trip was a memorable experience that we shared with my wife and her group of friends from work. But before reaching the beach house, we had the opportunity to explore the beaches and coastline of the neighboring municipalities of Balamban and Tuburan. The scenery along the way was breathtaking, with crystal clear waters reflecting the sunset setting. We spent our time soaking up the sun in a floating cottage and swimming in the sea.
Arroz Caldois a popular Filipino rice porridge dish that is made with chicken and broth, rice, ginger, and other vegetables. Its name is derived from the Spanish words Arroz which means rice and Caldo which means broth. Filipinos had a way of making rice gruels before when they were heavily influenced by Chinese traders. But it was until then that Spaniards came and brought together with them their style of making rice porridge and rebranded what Filipino have now as arroz caldo.
180-degree shift!sourceFrom the start of December of last year, I was on a constant hunt for a SAP ABAP Developer role in different job sites after I completed the ABAP training conducted by a certain private institution here in Cebu. The trainer saw our potential in learning this exclusive career advancement and I just grabbed the opportunity to maybe equip myself with a new set of skills involving programming. A big part of my 180-degree shift in career was because of the compensation. We all know IT careers benefit a lot in terms of rewards and perks.
one of my previous posts, I mentioned my fear of heights, but I forgot to show you some of my photos where I undoubtedly pose awkwardly on the top of the hill. You can tell by the look of these pictures. These photos show me at the top of Osmena Peak, where I was trying to appear normal despite my shaking knees due to fear and exhaustion.
