Spring Flowers Have Sprung Forth - by Sunscape

Yay! Spring has Sprung! The early flowers are in full bloom now that the cold temperatures are disappearing. This is a pink variety of Candytuft that is next to my front porch. I love the sweet pale pink compared to the white variety I have in another garden.
The Daffodils are all opening up and the Forsythia bushes are full of buds, a sure sign that spring has arrived.
The Star Magnolia tree got hit with high wind, heavy rain, and a severe cold night. That took out all the blossoms that had opened up. It was so sad to see all the flowers turned brown when I got up in the morning.
I had one pink Hyacinth come back this year. I have lost a lot of them that I planted 20 years ago. I think it might be time to order some new bulbs next fall. They are such a pretty flower with a wonderful fragrance.
It was such a lovely warm day, so I opened up the greenhouse doors again for the plants to get a nice breeze. They are all getting very big now.
It is supposed to be a warm week with a few showers. I will be bringing the tower gardens out and putting them around the porch. It feels so nice to be able to be back in the gardens once again.
