Our community has slowly been growing over the past couple of months. As we grow, we think of new ways of interacting, helping the community, and eachother. For our long term followers, this all makes sense, but for someone new, the information might be scattered, and sometimes outdated.

New improvements for the Steemmakers website and the project are worked on and we have had our first voicemeeting. We came up with some new important and needed improvements for the Steemmakers website.With the new trail vote for Steemmakers by Utopian (read more about that here) we are expecting that contributing posts to Steemmakers will become much more popular. Most things were already in place for the Steemmakers community on Steem, such as:

SteemMakers is about helping others and each other. We aim to unite and support makers and DIYers on the Steem blockchain. In our spare time we have slowly built a small but active community, our website is in alpha and we are supporting steemians almost on a daily basis. We're on a roll and our work is starting to get noticed which is even better for the Steem authors.

First of all we wish to thank every participant for their efforts. We really appreciate the interest in our project and the time spent. We got 43 entries and the result is a variety of styles, ideas and quality. This is an unexpected luxury for us and we are grateful for it. It also means there is more too choose from which made it a bit harder to us. It somehow also saddens us we have to disappoint the designers of the 42 entries that did not win.
