Watch on 3SpeakIt had been a long time since Mama Splatts and I went on a good hike at Harris Park. Its about 1/2-40 minute drive from here into Oregon. A handful of years ago the North Fork of the Walla Walla River flooded. I knew it screwed up the hiking trail but no idea how bad. Well let’s just say the road to drive in washed out about 1/2 mile to where you park and the restrooms are. In order to get to the trail we hade so walk on a narrow edge of jagged rocks right next to a raging section of the river. No wonder there was nobody around. LOL
As of midnight that day, the local police were giving the ability to chase criminals again in their patrol cars. Well this jack wagon, after calling multiple times threatening “suicide by cop” decided to do a hit and run. The police were led on a high speed chase outside of town for about 10 or so miles. Attempting to take a turn at 90mph in a mini van was another piss poor decision he made that day. He smashed into a pole, flew off the road into the field and his vehicle caught fire.
... truck into the trees and leaving it!!” 🤣🤣 The things we see when running on a midnight power outage. #wheattruck #crash #linelife #asplattslife Posted via D.Buzz
... transformer. It was packed completely full of dirt. Gonna have to change this one out and put some compacted gravel in it. #linelife #lineman #worklife #electricity #gophers #asplattslife Posted via D.Buzz
About a month ago we were visiting my sister-in-law for the week. Before we started our 5 hour trip home, a friend of my son asked if we could pick up a car for him on the way back. $1,000 for a clean 2005 Subaru Outback with a bad transmission. I rented a U-Haul trailer put it behind the Excursion and hauled back broken Subaru that needed fixed.
... hand getting the lights and A/C back on for the people. Temps were over 100F the whole time. #lineman #fire #linelife #dowork #asplattslife Posted via D.Buzz
