Going right back to Steemit 2016, @sift666 was always my number one account, and with 1967 followers (admittedly almost all of them long gone now) it was my most popular account in terms of followers.In this new obsession of checking out Hive that I'm on this week, I started wondering what would happen if I did a post as @sift666. REMEMBERING THE GOOD TIMESBack in February 2018 when I originally wrote a post about millenials defacing themselves with crap tattoos, it was the middle of summer in New Zealand, it was hot and sunny, I’d just spent the whole of 2017 making piles of money on cryptos, Steemit was totally pumping, and I felt like some sort of crypto blog god. I did have a sense that all was not as it seemed, but I had no idea how hard the illusion was about to crash.

Now that Hive has ditched any pretense of being a "free-speech" platform and the insider whales are just openly downvoting all non-approved content, the days of trying to earn $5 for a blog post are all but over.This is still a very good blogging platform - in fact Peakd is the best front end I've ever used. And Proof Of Brain has the huge drawcard of links not being blocked by mainstream social media platforms or shadow banned and kept hidden from sight by search engines like google.

It has got to a point where being able to share links to information online is pretty much the most important consideration of any platform.At this point in New Zealand, where some websites are being blocked, Proof Of Brain still seems to be totally unblocked - even on Fakebook.
