Beauty and abundance abound at last weekend’s nourishing Seed to Vase to Table dinner, a fundraiser to support @ourfamilyfarms. 🥕🌻🌱The dinner highlighted regenerative farming practices at our local food, flower and seed farms
Icelandic poppies - possibly the most beautiful thing I’ve ever grown. This came from the “Champagne bubbles” mix from @siskiyouseeds. They are just blooming and the color variations are stunning! I grew all white poppies earlier in spring and were smitten with them for weeks (as evident from previous posts) but i have to say these vibrant tones are so much more intriguing.
What a joy it was to weave flowers with these beautiful women @spiritweavers! I’m so so proud of their incredible work and seeing their creativity shine at our dried flower workshops 🌈!#spiritweaversgathering #driedflowers #floralcrowns #crescentmoon #wreaths #flowerworkshops #share2steem
The wild yarrow has been leafing out all spring and is finally starting to bud and bloom around our homestead! I have grown to love yarrow so much over the past few years. This beautiful plant is one of the most useful wild, sustainable medicines that I have come to know and respect.
These are three Comfrey plants that started the size of our thumb last spring. A year later they are already huge! Now the plan is to keep dividing the Comfrey so that we can have many more plants throughout the garden.Comfrey uplandica is an extremely nutritive food. We consume Comfrey uplandica leaves in large quantities on a weekly basis as herbal infusions.
