Here are some photos sitting around my "drafts" for quite some time now, from an art opening and music concert at the Doubting Thomas Gallery in Cleveland's Tremont area. Two of my favorite local outsider artists had featured work present, including Pat Modugno, aka Khaki Blazer (of Moth Cock fame) and Jim Matzorkis. Today I will be sharing photos of both of their art!
Today I share some more recent record grips from the dustiest corners of the dollar bins! None of these were huge hits, to my knowledge....so let's give these little fellas another chance to shine!DJ Magic Mike "Back in Black" 1996 DJ Magic Mike is a legendary DJ in the Miami Bass music circuit, undoubtedly releasing many many albums, singles and mixtapes. Here is just a mid 90s rendition of the AC/DC standard, "Back in Black," complete with some nice cuts and several remixes. While researching his bio, I just found out that he is actually a cousin of DJ Scratch, of EPMD fame! He still does weekly appearances in Orlando to this day, assuming his Wikipedia bio is still accurate!
What a wonderful day it is to share another round of some new old records that I have acquired recently, this time we go to the 1980s and check out some hip hop and music that was influenced by the early American hip hop movement!
Greetings! I wish everyone a wonderful new year and I would like to present you some of my recent record acquisitions of the electronic variety... spanning from ambient and new age to future techno, retro 80s Japanese minimal synth wave and even going back to the German Roots of electronic rock!
Greetings,Today I just have a post of some of my new CDs that I just had made, pro-pressed CD-r's, in colorful packaging. There is a bit of variety here, spanning from heavy ambient Synthesizer drone, to harsh esoteric and eccentric noise to my album of scratch and synth loops and even my first parody album!
Today I bring you a fine selection of dub CD's that I have picked up this Summer from the wonderful website, millions of records, where they have many discount CDs and records, with a lovely selection on emphasis on reggae and dub music.
