Today I'm going to be covering a couple new pre-alpha/alpha NFT games I've been playing that are already showing a great deal of progress. The space is blowing up at the moment, and the distance block chain gaming has travelled since the old days of high lo dice games is just astounding. So without further adieu - let's jump in and have a look at two games that could have a lot of promise in the future.
Holla Hivers. This is another garden journal entry here on the hive block chain. A lot has come along nicely since my last one. I had to leave town for ten days and hired a local lad to water and what not while I was gone. Kid got covid so had to self isolate, so the garden sat dry while I was away. However a lot did ok despite the neglect.
So the garden here in our rural Southwest home continues to grow well. We have had some hiccups due to getting such a late start but at the moment its producing food which was our main aim. The rain that has been non stop has caused a number of blight related issues that took out my tomatoes, and potatoes at blindingly quick speed. But there's another post on that after this as it would take up a lot of space.
So recently having sold up most of my Splinterlands cards I went on a bit of a superfluous spending spree. It was just NFT's after all. So with some of the cash I bought some silver, some other random assortments, and a metal detector as seen below.
There's something rather special about waking up in the rural south west. The area I live in is in the middle of an AONB (Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty) and the minute you step out the door your hit with the sound of bird song. For the past few days we have been slammed with heavy rain so getting out to inspect things was at the top of my priorities this morning. So I figured I'd put it down in the garden journal as I walked about collecting my lists of garden tasks for the day.
I had been playing Splinterlands since its beta stage and I have to admit I had a blast with the game in the beginning. But after a long time and a number of changes that sorta took the enjoyment out of grinding on the game I decided to call it quits as a game to hold large value in, and reduce my deck down to just for the occasional match set up.
