During the day, it reflects the hustle and bustle of the city, but at dusk, it becomes a space of calm and contemplation, where Havana residents find refuge for their thoughts, laughter, and dreams. It has witnessed love stories, passionate debates, and the resilience of the Cuban people in the face of the passage of time.
For me, it's one of my greatest pleasures: walking along that wall that borders the north of much of the city, passing through several municipalities, where the air ruffles my hair and the salt and smell of the sea permeate my pores.
More than a seafront promenade, the Malecón is a symbol of identity, an extension of the spirit of those who call this city their HOME.
