So What is The Prominent Author of The Week About?
The aim of the Prominent Author of the Week is to reward five great contents of authors shared from our weekly prompts in the community. This way, we get to encourage authors to be more active and try to be the best they can be in their content creation.
How Would The Initiative Run?
- 5 Posts/Authors would be selected from the weekly prompts (including creative sunday posts) every week
- Every Thursday night, we would be sharing announcements for the five winning authors
- All five selected authors would be rewarded with lazy-panda curation trail upvotes.
The benefits of working from home
This author gives us their thoughts on what they think about almost everything being able to be done online nowadays and using working from home as an example, the author tells us that it's not exactly a bad thing as it has its advantages. Although, the author also admits that there can be disadvantages every now and then.
Does Connectivity Diminish Skills?
While acknowledging the usefulness of technology and how everything being available online makes life a lot easier for everyone, this author also highlights some major problems that come with it. The author talks about how things were done back in the day, how they had to socialise with people in real life, play outside and go to a physical library to read books and how all that helped the people around gather certain impotent life skills. Unlike in today's world where people become obese due to the fact that they rarely get up to do anything physically.
