Often people refer to things opposite of the truth or not the truth as a lie, but is that really what it is? I was brought up to understand that lying is bad, but sometimes I ask myself who ever said lying was bad. This makes me recount almost every action of man with every statement of man. There are those who claim to hold integrity in high esteem but do things that makes one wonder what truly integrity is. For example, my company has an integrity policy, which they claim to hold in high esteem, but yet would ask me to forge a legal document they wish to use for an audit that would give them a job worth hundreds of millions. Now Imagine I decide to hold up to that policy then should I really help them do such a thing?

When we talk about network companies in this part of the world, it’s always a frustrating tale because of how bad the network is, how high the tariff is, and how fast the data consumption is. Yesterday I was at the office when the HR department called me to say that they were having network issues submitting POs to prospective clients. On reaching there I thought it was a website issue because it can’t possibly be a network issue knowing that we have a very good network that is truly unlimited. Only for me to be surprised when I discovered that it was truly a network issue.

This will be the third time this month I am saying life isn’t fair at times. I used to believe that every human is born with something special and that we will eventually find where we fit if we look well enough. But right now I can’t say I think so, right now I do not believe every human is special. Right now I feel everyone is the same until they decide to make a change and make a difference that would redefine their life and very existence. But then again, there are those born with great genes, not because they deserve it , but it’s just what it is. There are those so talented that it feels as though the world would not deserve them if they should live up to their full potential. We have seen such talents in sports, music and all, like they don’t have to do the hard work others are doing to get the results they get and it makes me wonder what it would be like if they choose to go the extra mile.

Vibes web3 music competition just ended the week 34 contest, and I must admit from everything I have witnessed, that this last week has been way more competitive than the last. At least that is how I have seen it. The entries this week were really professional, most of the participants in week 34 went the extra mile in their own way to make this week very enjoyable with everyone giving their best to make sure they come out on top (myself included). Even some of those who performed a bit poorly last week did way better. I watched a few and will be sharing my thoughts about two of those entries.

As I grow older I realize that the world is different from what I knew as a child. Probably because I was a child full of innocence or because I was shielded by the love of parents who did not want me to experience the cruelty of the world system. But one thing is certain, even though I didn’t really know much then, it was clear that the way people thought and the actions people made are way different from what they used to be. I don’t know if it was because people were just naive because it seems as we become wiser, we have become more wicked. Maybe man is just naturally wicked, and the new and advanced technologies are just bringing out the wickedness of man more.
