We see the just fallen rain evaporate as steam clouds quickly form when sunshine hits the land. Some of the water goes right back into the atmosphere where the cycle will continue to repeat itself forever. This image was captured on 3-13-2020 in Sedona Arizona USA.
Sitting under a small overhang on the edge of the rock formation, which is to the right of center frame, are the remnants of a prehistoric Sinagua Indian dwelling. The nearby waterfall is from rain water only and was probably their most significant source of water. These rocks are very saturated after three days of rain totaling close to four inches.
More storms are coming over the mountains, heading this way while spreading rain across the Verde Valley. As we draw close to Spring the prospect of a wildflower superbloom gets better and better. This image was captured on 3-13-2020 in Sedona Arizona USA.
All the basic colors together in sequence, by wave length of refracted light inside perfectly round raindrop's, graceful in free fall, spreading joy to life, being the essence! This image was captured on Friday the 13th 2020 in Sedona Arizona USA.
On top of solid rock some soil collects on the edge of a rain pool. Then over time grass and cactus find their way in, to thrive when wet and hopefully survive when dry. This image was captured on film during 2002 in Sedona Arizona USA.
Havasu Falls lies deep in the Grand Canyon and is one in series of amazing waterfalls along what's called Havasu Creek. On its way down to the Colorado River this life giving spring water flows through the Havasupai Indian Reservation which has no access by road and is hidden from the civilized world.
