Hello beautiful #hiveopenmic community. It's been a while since I posted on the blockchain. I have been super busy with my job and in my spare time just having the odd jam with my friends which left me with little to no time to write any posts.

This week's theme is Storyteller. As soon as I read the post a song that I love sprang to mind. The Terror Time is a song from a radio broadcast from the 1960s. The broadcast tells the story of The Traveller Communities in the UK. It highlighted their plights and the prejudices they faced that have been an age-old issue.

The solstice has a magical feel. The energy that spring is over and we now begin the transition of each day growing shorter. This pause of days is a time to reflect and give thanks for the beauty and abundance of nature and all that our mother earth provides.

It's been a busy few weeks in my house since I started my new job. Sadly, last week, I was unable to participate or show my love to all the amazing artists who bring their wonderful diverse talents to this community. I've missed listening to the weekly contributions and I will try my best to listen and comment over the next few days.

I wasn't the person I wanted to be back then and when we feel inauthentic it makes it hard to write about things we are passionate about.
