Today I am presenting you photos of a trail race, race does not mean photos of the runners but only those photos that I clicked on my mobile on the day of the race. I am volunteering in a short trail race and I have to go from Bir to Chhaina Pass by car from where I have to walk and sit at Hanumangarh Top. Here I have to give the correct directions to the runners and serve hydration.

In the last post you read how we reached Hanumangarh Peak. So in today's post also I am presenting some photos of the top and some of the descent from the peak towards Chhaina Pass. The height of the peak is 3080 meters and a 360 degree view is visible from the top. From here, we have to cover a distance of 6 km to descend which I think should take 2 hours.

Another post from Bir which is famous for its amazing geography, its Dhauladhar mountain range, its 4750 meter high Thamsar pass, its more than 10 Buddhist monasteries, its 5000 year old Shiva temple, its world famous paragliding site, its hill culture and the organic people living in the lap of Himalayas.

Well, I have never been a morning person, but yes, I have also delivered newspapers for 2 years in my life, for which I used to wake up at 3:30 in the morning. This routine continued till my 11th and 12th class. After delivering the newspapers, I used to go to school and just sleep, for which the teacher used to scold me every day. Now I feel that because of these 2 years, I no longer feel like waking up early in the morning.

Can you spot the paraglider in this photoAlthough nothing can beat a solo journey, I also agree that if your favourite companion is with you, the journey becomes even better. This happened on 15th May when I and my friend @naveen.jogta went to Hanumangarh Peak. We both had a task in which we had to mark an 8 km long segment.

There is coolness in the air and adrenaline is running in the veins like a cheetah runs after its prey. I am saying the word exciting because when a paraglider runs and jumps in the air from the take off site, the word wow comes out of the mouth and the hair on the skin stands up. This is Bir which is famous for paragliding in India as well as in the world.
