There is a fast growing drinks and ice-cream joint in town. I notice that it is blooming like mushrooms after rain and it seems to be everywhere , like literally most corners of an area.We can find it in not just malls of Klang Valley, Kuala Lumpur but I think it is all over Malaysia.

After a hiatus of many days in blogging on Hive, I am here to reveal the reason why I have been away.I gave birth a week ago!I want to document this important significant even on Hive so I can remember it somewhere on the blockchain. It was last Monday at 5am when I spotted blood and I realised the baby was coming. I was supposed to go to my government clinic for a check that morning but the nurse did advise that if there are signs of labour, I should head straight to the hospital instead. Spotting is one of the signs of labour so I quickly pack up things for the boys. I was ready because I was prepared to be induced on the following day, Tuesday anyway.

I think this is definitely the last day of my breakfast date with my secondborn as the Raya school holidays commenced next week and I am scheduled for labour next Tuesday.I took photos of us at his favorite breakfast place to remember and savour this moment with him.

So I am at 39 weeks and 1 day pregnant. Am really at my last lap of my pregnancy but with no signs of labour yet.Honestly, I am with more apprehensions this time than nervous for the delivery because it feels like many things are unsettled: One son having lots of school homework to handle, another son is still adjusting to new school life, and husband is still recovering from a viral infection. Last week, all 4 of us might have contracted Rotavirus which was a bad stomach flu bug when I vomited 7 times and diarrhea countless times. Husband got a fever and vomited and the 2 sons vomited as well.

Some days I really don't know what to cook. Yet I try to look at my ingredients and try to think of something. So what I had in my fridge before I replenish more grocery were some bell peppers and chicken cubes. Now what can I do with them??

It was my first attempt making this patin and toman fillet, cooked in taucu paste!I seldom cook fish in any other way than adding the fish fillets into soup. Maybe because I really do not have many recipes of fish up my sleeves too. One day when I was at the butchery, the lady there suggested to me I can cook fish with taucu paste which is actually fermented soy bean that is minced. So I bought a jar of it home, convinced by her.
