Impromptu Trip Out to the Park For Bubble Play!

It was the last day of school holidays. We were supposed to play bubble guns in a picnic yesterday which the boys have anticipated for very long but it rained! They had been asking me if we can try again today. So okay when all stars aligned, meaning everyone has napped and woke up earlier, we tried today.

It was about to rain when we arrived. We quickly parked ourselves under a small gazebo. So the boys played a while outdoors and it started to rain. They understood and came in to have some snacks.
The youngest who was experiencing bubble play for the first time, was just quietly trying to touch the bubbles coming out from her brothers' bubble guns. I actually planned for a bubble play picnic at this same park for her birthday.
Then we waited and the sun came out after a short while! They were so happily thanking Jesus. The secondborn went out like a dove sent out from our "Noah's ark" to scout though I did not ask him to. The firstborn commented, "hahah this boy is always so geng." It made me laugh.
The sun was out. I could even see a silver lining like how the sun broke through the dark clouda. What a great reminder that difficult times won't stay forever and it can be just temporary.
Then bubble fun continued. They started running everywhere. Finally back to where mei mei and I were at so Mei Mei could enter some bubble fun too. Then we left after 1 hour 15 minutes.
I think they were very happy because the secondborn was non stop singing, "It's bubbling, it's bubbling, it's bubbling in my soul....I'm singing and dancing, since Jesus made me whole..."

That was an impromptu trip out of the house. If I were to think and plan, I wouldn't have brought all 3 out all by myself when daddy is working and grandma is resting. Hahaha so yeah, that was good!
