Hole in the radiator hose this morning so thankfully @stryeyz brought the new one home for me. Got my new flight deck and swapped over my reserve into it which took a bit. Kited what I could for an hour. Weeded the rest of the garlic.
HOLY SHIT WHAT A DAY YESTERDAY!!! It started off rather benign with getting my clothes washed and dried while a couple of prints on the 3DP, the main was the post for the phone holder in the car. It had broken due to not enough infill so I printed it out at 100% and it works perfect now.
HOLY SHIT!!!! I got my first flight from home by accident today! I was kiting and on my last go when the wind hit, spun me, and plucked me. It was a lot of decision making in a very short period of time but I managed to glide along the highway and land atop the tunnel of our creek under the highway. HOLY SHIT I DID IT!!!! I love my launch site and it will be even better when I trim more branches back.
I was headed north yesterday morning around 9am to go hopefully fly the backyard. The day looked good with the high clouds and a couple cumis popping here and there. Isaac was late so we waited for him to show up before we headed up the hill.
Went to fly Chris's backyard today and wow is it wild. 1400 ft drop from launch to his house lz and the potential is huge but winds are wild in the valley. This is him setup on launch. I got an interesting flight that was wild to start and a great run out landing with the wind.
Slowly my knee is getting better and yesterday morning it didn't hurt for a number of hours. Thanks largely to not doing much for a while. PDC was on and it made me happy to see Gilding lose. I headed up the hill mid morning with a rake and spent time clearing all the sticks and pine cones and other debris from the launch area.
