Always a hang over after the yearly party... Meant I was getting the half barrel of grain mid morning. The rain started mid day and stopped a couple hours ago. We will get rain the next week so no white xmas. This report was published via Actifit app (Android). Yesterday was a kinda shit show ping pong day where I was here there and everywhere it felt like. The day started off icy and slick on the roads. I took the boys to school and as I dropped J off on one side of the school he said, "I forgot the plates and napkins"... THANK GOD we live so close to the school as I hauled ass back to the house, ran in and grabbed the bag from his room, then hauled ass back over and got him the stuff within minutes. Dropped R on the other side of the school then a little while later I was back picking him up.
Such a ping pong day. Ended up with an amazing party at @stryeyz work and got to have a good conversation with the owner, (31 companies and counting) for the first time in 17 years. I really do admire him and his old school mathematical mind, very much like my Father's and my own.
Quite the nice sunrise yesterday morning looking back towards the farm as I sat waiting to drop the boys at school. I only got the sliver of it but those who were not blocked by the terrain had a much better view of it. It wasn't exactly a red dawn so didn't really reflect a big storm, just some weather at some point during the day.
Nice sunrise this morning as I looked back at the farm while I dropped the boys at school. Sadly a losing day all around. Stowe lost his match, Utd ate their asses with gusto, and the Kraken crashed, while I did NOT get my root canal as the canal is buried under the end of the bridge so I go to an endo. At least the pain is gone.
It was full on dumping yesterday morning when I woke up as the storm was plowing past us. I watched the water sheeting off the roof in the yard light glow of predawn. I was a bit surprised it moved off as fast as it did but once the light of day hit and the back side of the storm came through I found out why it went so fast.
