It has been almost two months since I left my garden in the hands of my family. Coming home, I saw so much growth, renewed growth, perpetual growth... And abundance. It is strange that when you see something every single day, progress seems non-existent. But as soon as that linearity is broken, change seems drastic and in your face.

A couple of beers walked into a bar. A saison met up with a Stout whilst the IPA looked at the pair with some jealousy in her eyes. The special beer sat in the corner, being unique, and not really interacting with the bunch.

As photographer, you are sometimes privileged to witness what few people ever witness. This is because you can zoom in with your massive lens (if you are lucky enough to have one) or because you are literally predisposed to witness it: you do the trouble to visit these places, to stand still, and look. Some people do not have the patience to wait, as they want instant gratification and because they do not want to do the work. That is why some people are photographers and others not.

There still exists small enclaves of abundance in this world of ours - a world saturated with human beings and our concrete nightmare landscapes. We come in and destroy everything green in the pathway to build yet more housings for humans who will never stay there.
