Hello, friends of @holos-lotus. Following @iriswrite's initiative about guilt, I thought I might expand on my response. As I said then, we can talk about guilt for hours and days without repeating the topic. But, ever since you wrote that post, something has been on my mind that I just had to write about. And by this, I mean something that any of us has done at one time or another: taking the blame for others.
Many times we blame ourselves for something or some situation that we're not really responsible for. At that moment, we think, *what if this had been done? What if that had been done? What if I had acted differently then?
And all of that is a mistake.
I've made it myself quite often, but luckily, I always have someone who reminds me that it's a mistake, and that's why I do the same with you. Perhaps this very article will help me reread myself and rectify my mistakes if I ever make it again.
If, as I've said before, we act in good faith, with sincerity, and after having thoroughly analyzed the situation, we will always take the best possible action at that given moment.
What do I mean?
That every action and decision we take today will be made taking into account our knowledge of the moment, our way of thinking about the historical, social, and economic context; and even political at times.
