Hello asean community friends! It's been a while since I posted in Asean community. Today I want to tell you a little about my experience trying bingxue ice cream. Bingxue is an ice cream brand that just opened in my neighborhood. Previously, there was already Mixue ice cream brand that had opened in many places. For Bingxue, I just found it and it happened to be in my neighborhood.

The traditional house complex of West Sumatra is very majestic, even from afar. This traditional house is called Rumah Gadang which comes from the local language of the Minangkabau tribe. Derived from the word "Gandang" which means "Big", therefore the gadang house is large. That said, they deliberately built a large house so that it could accommodate a large family. Another interesting thing besides its size, this traditional house has a unique roof shape. The roof is curved and at the end of the roof is pointed. They call this roof "gonjong" and it resembles buffalo horns. The basic material of the roof uses Ijuk which comes from palm fronds. I think it's really unique and interesting.

Southeast Sulawesi Traditional HouseWhen you pass through the gate that reads Southeast Sulawesi, you will pass through a road made of river stones. On both sides of the road, there are plants that are shaped like fences and some plants such as palm trees. After passing through the road, we will find a tiled house yard but there are some glass floors. What's unique about the glass floor is that we can see into it. There is an empty space that looks like a pool but there is no water in it. Either it is designed to be empty like that or because it is not being filled with water. But for me this is still unique because this is the first time I've found a courtyard that is designed like that.

Platforms and traditional houses of North SulawesiOne of the things I visited this time was a traditional house from the island of Sulawesi, namely North Sulawesi. When entering the anjungan area and the traditional house of North Sulawesi, I felt like I was greeted by the statue of the warriors, because in the front yard there were many statues of warriors that were very tall. Then to get to the Anjungan and the traditional house of North Sulawesi, we have to climb quite a lot of stairs. The anjungan and traditional house buildings are quite large and tall. I checked the second floor of the platform, and everything was made of wood. Unfortunately I couldn't see inside because there was a religious event, so I just looked around.

East Kalimantan PavilionThe East Kalimantan platform is made of ninety percent wood. The pillars, walls, doors and floor are all made from wood. Even the statues are made of carved wood. The carvings are proof that the ancestors of the tribes in East Kalimantan were creative and talented people. They left a very valuable legacy. In my opinion, ancestral heritage and historical relics are very valuable and priceless.

SETU BABAKANSetu babakan is a lake that was inaugurated as a cultural heritage. This lake is designated as a Betawi cultural heritage area, to preserve and develop Betawi culture. Therefore, in this area a Betawi museum, traditional houses of Betawi villages, and all kinds of things related to Betawi are built. So besides enjoying the beauty of the lake, visitors can explore the museum and Betawi village as well. To explore this area, it is free of charge.
