It’s not easy for me to answer because over the years I have learned to follow the stories of many users and each of them deserves to get on the podium.
To choose, then, I thought of focusing on the authors who for me best embody the idea of “Proof of Brain”, that is, who in my opinion bring value to the Hive platform with original content.
In general, the criteria I considered are:
In the case of texts, I prefer medium-long posts and of which at least one language is English, so as to reach as many people as possible. Unfortunately, I haven’t been lucky enough to study Spanish and I know that there are many authors who write only in this language;
In the case of photographs and works of art, I appreciate artists who post some photos or videos of the creative process, so as to testify how the work was created and be able to see their skill;
In the case of travel, I like it when the authors are very detailed and also explain practical aspects (how to get to a place, how much it costs, what is the best time of year to visit, …).
Finally, another aspect to consider is whether the user actively participates in the community. It’s not only important to post, but also to comment and vote for others. Think that some of the people I will tell you about have also founded communities, contributing first-hand to improving the network!

Non è facile per me rispondere perché nel corso degli anni ho imparato a seguire le vicende di molti utenti e ognuno di loro meriterebbe di salire sul podio.
Per scegliere, allora, ho pensato di concentrarmi sugli autori che per me incarnano maggiormente l’idea di “Proof of Brain”, ovvero che secondo me apportano valore alla piattaforma di Hive con contenuti originali.
In generale, i criteri che ho considerato sono:
Nel caso di testi, preferisco i post medio-lunghi e di cui almeno una lingua sia l’inglese, in modo da poter capire il più persone possibile. Purtroppo non ho avuto la fortuna di studiare lo spagnolo e so che ci sono molti autori che scrivono solo in questa lingua;
Nel caso di fotografie e opere d’arte, apprezzo gli artisti che pubblicano qualche foto o video del processo creativo, in modo da testimoniare come l’opera è stata creata e poter vedere la loro abilità;
Nel caso di viaggi, mi piace quando gli autori sono molto dettagliati e spiegano anche aspetti pratici (come arrivare in un posto, quanto costa, qual è il periodo dell’anno migliore per visitare, …).
Infine, un altro aspetto da considerare è se l’utente partecipa in maniera attiva alla community. Non è importante solamente postare, ma anche commentare e votare gli altri. Pensate che alcune persone di cui vi parlerò hanno anche fondato delle community, contribuendo in prima persona a migliorare il network!

With his board "Discovering Italy with alequandro!" took us to the most remote corners of Italy to discover
amazing landscapes,
nature walks and enchanting villages.
Speaking of art, I can't help but mention the wonderful
@armandosodano, who for me represents the
Italian artistic community on Hive.
His paintings live on dualism: they are incredibly current as themes, but at the same time
they seem to come from another era for their beauty.
Furthermore, in each post the author inserts a few lines that offer food for thought and explains how the work was born. I would love to see his works live one day!
Non è la prima volta che parlo del mio amore per i post di
@alequandro, ai quali vorrei anche solo lontanamente ispirarmi quando scrivo di viaggi.
Con la sua bacheca “Discovering Italy with alequandro!” ci ha portati negli angoli più remoti d’Italia alla scoperta di
paesaggi pazzeschi,
passeggiate nella natura e borghi incantevoli.
Parlando di arte, non posso non menzionare il meraviglioso
@armandosodano, che per me rappresenta la
comunità artistica italiana su Hive.
I suoi dipinti vivono di dualismo: sono incredibilmente attuali come temi, ma allo stesso tempo
sembrano provenire da un’altra epoca per la loro bellezza.
Inoltre, in ogni post l’autore inserisce qualche riga che offre spunti di riflessione e ci spiega come è nata l’opera. Mi piacerebbe vedere le sue opere dal vivo un giorno!
One of the most underrated Italian authors is
@cooltivar, a mix of
nature and science.
On his blog you can find cultivation tips, practical guides for
food self-sufficiency, mushroom picking and much more. His posts always leave me incredulous for the quality of the content.
There is no shortage of foreign authors in my feed. One of the most interesting is my friend
@biologistbrito. Founder of a beautiful community called “
Amazing nature”, in his blog he deals with topics such as biology, observation under the microscope and botany. There are also very adrenaline-filled posts about travel and
nature excursions. A visionary and surprising author!
Uno degli autori italiani più sottovalutati è
@cooltivar, un mix di
natura e scienza.
Nel suo blog potete trovare consigli di coltivazione, guide pratiche per l’
autosufficienza alimentare, raccolta di funghi e molto altro. I suoi post mi lasciano sempre incredula per la qualità dei contenuti.
Nel mio feed non mancano gli autori esteri. Uno dei più interessanti è l’amico
@biologistbrito. Fondatore di una bellissima community che si chiama “
Amazing nature”, nel suo blog affronta temi come la biologia, l’osservazione al microscopio e la botanica. Ci sono anche post molto adrenalinici sui viaggi e sulle
escursioni nella natura. Un autore visionario e sorprendente!
I always enjoy reading the posts of
@mipiano, the author who founded the beautiful community “
Hive Collectors”. In this space, every month a theme is proposed and users can participate by telling how their collection is composed on this topic.
A truly original idea! In her private space, however, the author talks about
music,
travel and personal experiences.
Last but not least, is
@livinguktaiwan, who I met thanks to a beautiful
postcard exchange initiative. A long-time user, in his blog you can find
travel experiences,
art exhibitions and pills of creativity.

Hive Collectors”. In questo spazio ogni mese viene proposto un tema e gli utenti possono partecipare raccontando come è composta la loro collezione su questo argomento. Un’idea davvero originale!
