Good morning hivers, today I'm telling you about one of the most beautiful weddings I've been to! It was in June but I only remembered the photos now, shame on me. For the occasion my friend Radha was getting married, she and her sisters are Italian but her parents are of the Hare Krishn religion so they gave their children all Indian names, Radha therefore decided to celebrate the wedding in Indian style after a classic ceremony in the offices in charge, she and her husband have been living together for several years and have finally fulfilled their wedding dream! The Indian style wedding was organized entirely by Radha's parents and her sisters at their home, luckily they have a large house with beautiful adjacent land where I am always happy to return, I spent a good part of my childhood there because our parents were friends and I often stayed with them to sleep, we were many children and in that house there was always people, life and joy, people from all over the world and when there were Indian celebrations it was beautiful, big parties with songs, food and prayers. A house of joy. For the wedding it was obviously decorated with an Indian theme and the food, as always, was strictly vegetarian. I wanted to dress in a sari or kurti but a few days before I had been ill with an infection and in hospital and I hadn't had the opportunity to look for a suitable dress so I improvised with a simple caftan, instead the bride and groom you see in the photo at the bottom of this row they were really dressed in theme, both beautiful!!

Today I'm taking you on a little trip that we've taken in recent days, although my health isn't the best yet, I still try not to stay locked in the house because my mood is negatively affected, so yesterday I was intrigued by some announcements of splendid villas for sale my husband and I decided to visit a small village about an hour away from our home, we liked the village but it is so inconvenient and far away that we won't buy a house there! Baggio is a small village of very few inhabitants located on the Pistoia hills, it is about half an hour from the city and has a cooler climate, to get there you travel along narrow, curvy roads, not suitable for those who suffer from car sickness but it has a beautiful panoramic view, in fact the road winds through the green hills of Pistoia, among olive groves and agricultural fields. To get to the village you pass by some small clusters of houses, besides the fields in these places there is nothing else, not even a business or a bar or a pharmacy, just fields and houses, very quiet but also very isolated places.

Good morning Hivers today I'm taking you with me to a special and unique place in my beautiful Italy, a colorful and magical place that I fell in love with, I had heard about this city several times but I didn't believe its beauty until I saw it view! Spello is also called the flowery city, because it is actually full of flowers and there are various festivals dedicated to floriculture! Spello is a city in Umbria and is considered among the most beautiful villages on the peninsula. As soon as you arrive you are immediately enchanted by the classic stone streets and houses with the brown and gray colors so typical of Umbria, a region truly rich in natural, artistic and architectural beauty. Spello, like many Umbrian cities, has Romanesque and then medieval origins, of which the remains of the ancient walls remain but they are also notable for the streets and alleys of the city and its composition. Spello is truly a typical Italian city, with small constraints and characteristic corners, small restaurants, vintage cars, few pedestrians and delightful houses. It is a very touristy place but we were lucky by going there during the week, the streets were almost all free and so were the souvenir shops. Here there is a very beautiful event called the infiorate, carpets of flowers during the corpus domini, like all the towns of Umbria the religious traditions are deeply felt, loved and respected. I really liked Spello, it's pretty and traditional, a magical place.
