Who would have thought that Adulthood could be so busy and demanding that it is even difficult for me to make time to be on this platform, reading and engaging with posts? Guess who is here? Well, it’s me, of course, and I hope I stay here and not leave again. Thank goodness this week’s Kiss prompt excites me because I get to talk about myself and my lifestyle.

I have come to notice how everyone has a lifestyle that they try to uphold. People have different living habits and one thing about me is that I do not judge. I honestly feel that everyone does what works for them. They adapt different living habits and over time some have regretted the ones they adapt while others are living just fine.

I would always say that because I didn’t understand her kind of lifestyle but now I do understand her lifestyle, I am a minimalist and I am similar to my mom already. I have several reasons why I adopted the minimalist lifestyle, but I will be talking about my three main and most important reasons.

I had to deal with a piece of bad news and dealing with bad news has never been my type of thing because I hate failure, rejections, bad news, and anything that just makes me unhappy. So dealing with this news was quite difficult for me. Well, I am fine now and in the next phase of life. Most times this bad news just helps beautify our success stories.

I am always keen on organizing my things. I have come to understand the concept of Minimalism and how it intertwines with the act of decluttering. My friends would always compliment my ability to keep my space organized and decluttered. Most times I would get questions like “How do you manage to create a lot of space in your room, with all your things intact and organized?” To me it just involves me adapting several storage ideas to keep my space tidy and decluttered.

In regards to the prompt for this week,Do you think there is such a thing as being too minimalist?my answer is “Yes, I think there is a thing as being too minimalist” I can say that there is a thin line between Being stingy and being a minimalist. Being an extreme minimalist is the main reason why most people see minimalists as being stingy. That is why it is quite difficult to explain to someone who is not a minimalist that your lifestyle is simply based on minimalism and not being stingy.
