Evelyn is a Cuban girl, entrepreneur and Cuban influencer based in Havana. She owns a successful rental business for tourists and is very active in social networks. It was precisely through Instagram that I met her and we immediately connected because of the similarity in our content. To this day we are constantly interacting. One time I discovered on her profile that she was available for collaborations and I immediately thought of inviting her to a small session that would serve not only to take pictures, but also for her production team (her husband and brother) to record us during the process to create a behind-the-scenes video.

This is a lovely yet colorful set that we prepared for the pregnant couple and we saw that it resulted in some very impressive photos, especially because of her outfit and her striking hair. Although it was a small photoshoot, the truth is that we really enjoyed it, both the process of setting up everything and taking the photos, as well as the later editing process. Enjoy!

I know that there're many cities in the world known for their atmosphere of romanticism and glamour, most of them famous and well known. For me, Havana is one of them and this beautiful couple has come to prove it. I was lucky enough to be called for this session which, as soon as I saw them, I knew would be a complete success. As indeed it was. We really enjoyed the process, we had fun and we also got beautiful photos that they will keep as one of their precious memories, and me as an inspiring experience. Enjoy!

I've had to attend large groups who want a photoshoot in the streets of Havana more frequently in the past few days. Working this way should be more complicated, but since I've been in this business for so many years and have mastered the best locations in detail, the situation has become incredibly manageable and, in the end, I've done what I wanted my way, my own style. This is the case of this family that has traveled all together and I've had the good fortune and pleasure of being called by them for a session. Unfortunately I couldn't count on a lighting assistant, which I consider essential, so I had to settle for working with natural light and, as much as I try to avoid it, I still suffer many difficulties to expose correctly because this type of photography requires as much of the background within the frame. Having said this, here are the photos and I truly hope you enjoy them.

When someone from another country chooses your own to announce extremely important news, it stimulates you and awakens a sense of pride for your homeland. This is the case of this couple whose admiration for Cuba brought them here to announce to the world, their family and friends that their unborn child is a boy. And what could be better for me that as part of their celebration they wanted a professional photoshoot through the streets and iconic places of Havana. So we did and met early in the morning to take advantage of the fresh hours of the day and avoid being affected by the sun and the heat of the Caribbean summer. They rented a classic blue car... obviously they already had the idea of blue because of the baby and that made the photos, in addition to all the tenderness for their love and her pregnancy, even more beautiful. This cute and very young pregnant girl came to us for a photoshoot on the beach. She was together with her older son and her mother. In Havana we have two beach areas. One in the east of the city, where beaches like Bacuranao, Santa María and Guanabo are located; and the other in the west, in the Miramar neighborhood, a coastal municipality where rocks abound, but there are small areas with sand and shallow waters that are similar to a normal beach. The latter was chosen because of its proximity to the center, and there we set up our lighting equipment and adjusted her wardrobe. Luckily, the beautiful girl has a personality and an attitude for posing, so we had very little to direct her to do. Pretty much whatever she did made her looked good. Judge for yourselves. Enjoy!
