Once again on a photographic adventure through the streets of this magical city. This time I met with this couple that although they appear to be quiet people, the truth is they came to Cuba to enjoy it to the fullest. We met at the Central Park and their first location was the famous yellow colonial style house with the giant flag. From there we continued to the Presidential Palace, where they made an unusual request: to pose in front of the war tank from which Fidel Castro shot and actually hit and destroyed an American warship approaching Cuba during the Bay of Pigs invasion. At that point, we entered the adjoining neighborhood called Loma del Angel, a picturesque place that everyone loves. The next stop was the Malecón, the wall that separates the coast from the city and then we headed to the Revolution Square, where they did reverences to the historical symbols present there. Finally we closed in one of those places that are a must, the Havana Forest, which we found quite busy that day. This is the kind of photoshoot I especially enjoy because of its vibrant explosion of color and Cuban and Caribbean culture. Not only because it identifies me, but also because the result is more consistent with the model look and her surroundings. This time there were no big changes in terms of locations. If you have been following me for a long time you already know these places, such as the National Capitol, the yellow colonial house with the giant flag at the intersection of Aguacate and Chacón streets, the Central Park and the Paseo del Prado avenue. It has gotten quite popular among girls who have just turned 15 to dedicate a part of their photoshoot to pose next to a horse. In Havana we have several farms with trained horses available for this purpose, but this time we chose the one called Lenin Park, in the municipality of Arroyo Naranjo. Before arriving, I thought I'd find a typical countryside area, especially for being away from everything and solitary, and that we'd also have all the time and space necessary to develop my work. I didn't know how different the reality would be. When I arrived, it was indeed a completely rural area, but not lonely at all. There was a line of cars with many clients coming to take their pictures with the horses, so there was no loneliness and much less time available. Anyway, we enjoyed the job done and I truly wish you will to.

It's been a particularly hot summer this year in the Caribbean, but the photoshoots in this special city just keep coming. Now I present to you this beautiful client with whom we toured both the old and modern parts of the city and she looked spectacular in all of them, with a high level of elegance and sensuality. The first ones were taken in front of one of the most iconic buildings, the National Capitol, a must for visitors and locals alike. The second part was taken at the Revolution Square, a place of great historical value that attracts many for its legendary aura. Enjoy!

Just a few days ago I took this new photo of another of the symbolic places of this city: Prado Avenue or as it's also called Paseo del Prado. Not that it brings anything new, but as an image, it's fresh and has the charm of having been taken under cloudy skies, so its lighting is even and soft, something uncommon in our hot tropical island.

Of the hundreds of pregnant girls I've photographed, this one turned out to be the most impressive of all, and for many reasons. Don't get me wrong. My opinions about clients have always been based on respect for them and their families. In fact, I let them know as part of the communication I like to establish so there's a relaxed atmosphere with each other. Going back to today's girl, as soon as you see her you can notice an uncommon beauty and sweetness that stands out in the photos. It's also remarkable that being so young and beautiful she has a lot of tattoos that, nevertheless, give her a note of femininity and delicacy. Her sober and elegant posing skills also impressed me. To finish, her beautiful family was with her all the time and they also took pictures all together, making this a very special session. Enjoy!
