What is Cuppa Joe?Before Creative Work Hour, we gather live online to have a chat before we get down to the creative work of the hour. We call this time, "Cuppa Joe." Most days of the week during Cuppa Joe we get our creative day started together by playing the game where we guess the day's word from the generative artwork that @shadowspub creates for her #dailyecho spots. Last night there were some concerned Hive users, panicking out there for fear they had lost their accounts when they couldn't see their posts on their preferred front-end dApps. This is a reasonable reaction! The reason is that we're all a bit tramatized by the predatory platforms of Web2, who without notice and most often without recourse, take down accounts. They conduct their business, and it is their business, like that every day. But that's not Hive. That is not who we are.
