January 2025 Book Reading ListI'm writing this brief memo as a friendly reminder to myself: these are my intentions at the start of this New Year. What follows is a list of what I'm currently reading, and what I'm intending to read throughout 2025. Carefully Selecting Self-Sabotage as your New Year's Irresolution. So could a memo or list like this cause a lower rate of decay for my reading list intentions?
Yes, and it's due to recording what I'm reading right now so I can then list what I'm intending to read next. We aren't disappointed when the next day in January comes to a close, with the setting sun serving to remind us that this must be the month of decaying intentions. So one then asks, do we subject ourselves to each new day in January compounding the rate of decaying intentions? And if so, why do we?January's New Year's Resolutions are typically made by the careful selection of Irresolutions; ergo, how I go about selecting my resolutions is a silly process for minimal chances of achievement to be the intended resolution. By gradually decreasing my remnants of resolve, each day's end increases the rate of decay awaiting us tomorrow. Does that mean I'm committed to achieving lesser chances of success? Yes.
I'm ensuring that the potential ranges of rates of decay continue to irresolutely stay in my way!
