By @littlebee45/26/2025hive-184784

We go next to the UK 🇬🇧 with my streetart ; Come along and check out today this wall with 2 awesome murals done by many artists. I discovered this street on our trip back to Ireland last year to sell our car during another country move. I found these 2 murals (maybe even more murals in one) wandering around in the city of CARDIFF in WALES 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 that is in the UK 🇬🇧
Come and walk with me and read the info behind their meaning… 😎

The Instagram post with a lot of information you find here: thesustainable.studio Post about the mural!

It tells us the following:

Such a lovely honour to have this mural painted on the @ thesustainable.studio wall! It’s a lovely post on March 1st.
Happy St David’s Day!
Read more about the mural and partnership below;
@ uswcreative @ immersed_fest hosted Wales’s 1st Future Generations Climate Convention to empower young people in climate conversations.
With support from Cardiff Council, we’re celebrating the event with a large-scale mural on the former Transport Club now The Sustainable Studios.
In partnership with Music Declares Emergency, adorns this year’s festival theme of Future Utopias & was created by Meg Kingsbury who is studying Illustration with USW.
“I can’t believe I was picked for this mural, it’s such an honour to have my work displayed for Music Declares Emergency that is so crucial for sustainability in the music industry. I was quickly drawn towards the ocean/aquatic theme ‘Utopia’ for me will always include the sea” 🌊🌎
A big thank you to Grafitti Artist Brad @ rmer.one who braved the elements all week to paint the mural, but we kept him going with tea and snacks!

These works are put up to regenerate the area… do read the above articles and find out why!

Let’s have a closer look at both works:

As we walked through the street, suddenly I saw this popping up. The murals go into a smaller lane.

Of course I had to stop and take some photos. Even when it was raining.
I like the mural at the top the most as so much more is going on. I like the statement!
IMG_8236.jpeg

Looking closer at the top mural. It flows… like the waves of an ocean. The design was so well chosen. The artist did a great job creating it for her.
IMG_8238.jpeg

Looking at the bottom part. We see a lot of forms, like cups and vases etc.
IMG_8239.jpeg

Looking into the little lane we see more from the mural and the designs.

The signatures on the top mural of all involved.

The bottom one has only the date displayed when they were painted. Didn’t find the artists signatures.
