Priluki and Pogost Luka

I can safely say that I visited the mouth of the Sukhona River, in the most possible place. Beyond that, there are only flooded, swampy, impassable fields or shrubs. And even further is Kubenskoe Lake, from which this river flows.

Priluki and Pogost Luka are two villages on the banks of the Sukhona River, at the place of its sharp turn.

The turn here is so steep that the river decided to find a simpler path and left behind an old bed.

In the spring, it all comes together, and at low water levels, it may not get into the old bed of Sukhona. Anyway, I want to see this place in the low water.

And yet here the turn is so steep that from one village the second one seems as if it is on the other shore. And yet ... you can see not only Kubenskoe Lake, but also the village of Kubenskoe itself! It's more than twenty kilometers!!!

The places are quiet and cozy...I didn't want to leave. That's what I've been doing for a long time.

There are boat garages and even a couple of dugouts...But I wasn't interested in them that night.

I have never heard such a diverse birdsong!

Mostly seagulls were screaming, but there were also sounds unfamiliar to me.

..And then I saw a fire in the sky.

It's the full moon coming out!

I started playing with the camera angles.

The moon at such a dark time immediately goes into overexposure, you can't get enough of playing.

On the way, I stopped at the Kushta River.

A spill with fog in the predawn twilight.

The moon accompanied me all the way back. That night it did not rise above the horizon and set back towards dawn.
